Tradition meets future
Some call them the „black pearl“ of Friesland: the Friesian Equine. The character of the stud farm that ViebrockReithallen created in the East Frisian town of Bunderhee is just as imposing: sublime and princely.
The entire center was equipped with state-of-the-art technology by ViebrockReithallen - at the same time, loving details, both in the outdoor facilities and on the building, show how much heart and soul went into the conception of the entire estate.

What this dream is made of:
The architecture of this estate is that of an English country home; it resembles a portrait of a bygone era, framed by a well-tended park with mature trees and loving details such as a chessboard with life sized figures. In short: baroque flair that is more than worthy of one of the oldest breeds of horses in Europe.
The traditional appearance of Polderhof is complemented by a technology package that supplies it with 100 % renewable energy, making it an absolute driving force when it comes to energy efficiency. ViebrockReithallen built the entire riding center using optimised energy construction methods. Photovoltaic systems, with an output of 240 kilowatts, are installed on all the south, east and west-facing roofs, while heating probes at a depth of 100 metres convert the constant temperature level of the ground into heat and electricity.
This symbiosis of tradition and modernness has proven to be extremely effective for the public. Whether a classical music festival held in the multipurpose indoor riding arena, an East Frisian barbecue on the spacious terrace, or a Sunday brunch in the „Piaffe“ guest house: the Polderhof brings Friesian horses and people together.
