The jury has decided: the ALEXANDRA Safety Bumper is the winner of the Equitana Innovation Prize in the category of ‘Stable, Hall and Arena Construction’. From a grand total of 56 nominations, in the end it was Viebrockreithallen’s innovative product that won over the judges. According to the jury, this safety product is not only advantageous to riders and thus also to the customers of equestrian businesses, but also provides the horse with easily visible visual references thanks to the integrated LED lighting. The decision was made easier by the fact that the product can be retrofitted and is made of proven materials, similar to those that are used in motorbike helmets, for example.
And still that wasn’t enough! A special prize, awarded by the jury for particularly forward-thinking products, was given to the ‘Fresh Air System’ by Viebrockreithallen. The justification provided was that the atomiser solves a problem that afflicts many stables, in that it gathers up dust and drives away insects. Depending on requirements, the system can function automatically or be controlled at the press of a button. This piece of technology moreover helps to keep the air fresh inside the stable.
